Associate Attorney - Litigation

A law firm seeks a talented and driven Associate Attorney to join their litigation team in Peachtree Corners, GA. Duties

• Engage in all phases of litigation, including pre-lawsuit investigation, case analysis, and drafting legal documents.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and assist in preparing motions and other court filings.
• Take and defend depositions, with opportunities to represent clients in court proceedings.
• Assist in arbitration, mediations, and trials, providing comprehensive legal support.
• Conduct legal research and provide insightful analysis of various legal issues.
• Offer advice and counseling to clients on a wide range of legal matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to build case strategies and ensure client objectives are met.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives for continuous improvement in legal processes and client service.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience (preferred, but not required).
• Admission to the Georgia Bar or pending results from the Georgia Bar Exam.
• Strong analytical and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Motivated and eager to grow professionally in the legal field.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Effective communicator, both written and oral, with a client-centric approach.
• Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Georgia Bar membership (or pending results).
