Entry Level Immigration Attorney

A respected and fast-growing immigration law firm in Las Vegas is seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join its legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a newly admitted or early-career attorney to gain hands-on experience and grow within a collaborative and mission-driven practice. The role involves direct client interaction, courtroom appearances, and active involvement in removal defense and family-based immigration matters, with mentorship from senior attorneys and support from a seasoned legal team.

Location

Duties

• Explain immigration procedures and develop strategic legal solutions for clients

• Represent detained and non-detained clients before Immigration Courts and the Board of Immigration Appeals

• Prepare and file various immigration applications including family-based petitions and humanitarian relief

• Conduct client intakes, including those detained in immigration centers

• Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documentation

• Meet with potential clients for consultations and provide legal analysis

• Coordinate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law developments

• Prepare clients and witnesses for USCIS interviews and court hearings

• Review case files and collaborate with team members for case development and review

• Manage an assigned caseload with attention to deadlines and evolving legal issues

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in immigration law

• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Strong interest in immigration law and client advocacy

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team

• Experience working with detained individuals (preferred but not required)

• Prior exposure to family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, EOIR, and citizenship applications is advantageous

• Familiarity with immigration case management software (preferred)

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar license in any U.S. state (required)

• Ability to manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred but not required
