Job Duties

• Perform legal research and stay current with new developments in the law
• Directly interact with clients daily, fostering unique client connections
• Handle depositions, mediations, conferences between claimants and judges, and court appearances
• Draft pleadings, findings of fact, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents
• Manage large caseloads, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions
• Collaborate effectively with corporate professionals

Requirements

• 0-5 years of experience in the legal field
• Working knowledge of administrative laws and procedures
• Strong analytical, communication, and people skills
• Ability to handle large caseloads and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively with corporate professionals
• Commitment to excellent performance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Education

• A law degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Actively licensed in Nebraska
• Ability to become licensed in Iowa
