A law firm seeks a Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney for its Seattle, WA office. This role involves working on internationally recognized matters, including novel financing deals in the energy transition.

Job Overview: The Junior to Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney will primarily focus on energy transition finance matters, handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies. The role requires expertise in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables and promptly respond to phone calls and correspondence.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of work products.
  • Meet deadlines and perform duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships and comply with firm policies.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities such as computer work, digital/virtual calls, and meetings.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • 3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters.
  • Experience handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies, with specific expertise in tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization.
  • Admitted to practice in Washington State.
