Duties:

• Manage and litigate employment law cases, with a focus on defense-side employment cases and class action/PAGA matters.
• Handle written discovery and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research, negotiate settlements, and draft legal documents.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other court-related events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional legal services.
• Collaborate with legal team members to ensure efficient and effective case management.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in employment and labor law, particularly in defense-side litigation.
• Experience with class action and PAGA cases.
• Proficiency in handling depositions, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Strong negotiation, research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment.
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Reside in California.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
