The ideal candidate will be responsible for defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims, advising employers on labor law issues, and representing clients in court, mediations, and arbitration. Duties:

  • Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
  • Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law matters.
  • Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and ensure comprehensive case management.

Requirements:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
  • 4+ years of experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred.
  • Current Maryland Bar admission in good standing.
  • In-depth understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
  • Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork.

Education:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Current Maryland Bar admission in good standing.
