Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to handle a diverse caseload. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong litigation skills, with the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution. This role requires effective communication, exceptional negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of assigned cases, including strategy development, legal research, and case preparation.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address their concerns.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in dispute resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Evaluate claims to determine their strengths, weaknesses, and potential for success.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and other team members to ensure efficient case management and preparation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in First Party Property Damage.
• Member of the Colorado Bar and in good standing.
• Proven ability to evaluate claims and manage complex litigation cases.
• Exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of successful settlements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the Colorado Bar Association.
