A law firm seeks a skilled and compassionate Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Inwood, New York. Duties

• Independently manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring thorough handling from initial consultation through resolution.
• Prepare, file, and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategies to effectively represent clients in personal injury cases.
• Collaborate with legal staff, including paralegals, to ensure efficient case management.
• Communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed of case developments and provide legal advice.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when necessary.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state of New York and in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• At least one (1) year of experience in personal injury law (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the New York State Bar Association.
