Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a Real Estate and Finance Associate Attorney to join their team in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will handle various commercial real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, purchasing and sale transactions, and large-scale property review due diligence projects. They will represent clients, including borrowers and lenders, in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions and draft and negotiate transactional documents.

Duties

• Handle commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, purchasing, and sale transactions.
• Conduct large-scale property review due diligence projects.
• Represent clients in complex middle-market commercial lending transactions.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of transactional documents.
• Conduct comprehensive title examinations and survey analyses.
• Identify potential issues or risks related to real estate properties through due diligence.
• Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate and finance laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance transactions.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the State Bar of New York.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
