A law firm in Jackson, MS, is seeking a Data Privacy and Cybersecurity Associate Attorney. The attorney will bring an entrepreneurial spirit to a fast-paced team, handling various legal tasks related to data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity. They must possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials.

Duties:

• Draft and argue discovery and other motions related to data privacy and cybersecurity cases.
• Take and defend depositions in matters concerning data protection.
• Manage document productions in compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Bring an entrepreneurial spirit to the team, contributing to innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of meaningful experience in data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity at a mid-size or large law firm.
• Must be in good standing with the State Bar of Mississippi or Bar of another state.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
