Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, advocating for their rights and interests through negotiations, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct thorough record reviews and analyze medical, legal, and other documents to develop strong case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Lead and conduct depositions and ensure clients and witnesses are well-prepared for court appearances.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Attend and represent clients at court hearings and trials.
  • Conduct detailed legal research to support case preparation and litigation strategies.
  • Regularly update and communicate with clients regarding the status of their cases and important developments.
  • Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to gather and present evidence.
  • Manage a personal injury caseload, ensuring that all deadlines and legal processes are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Iowa.
  • Experience in personal injury law or a related legal field.
  • Ability to commute reliably to the office in Bismarck, ND, and travel as necessary to meet clients.
  • Previous experience in a professional office environment with demonstrated success in client management.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience handling depositions, hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.

Certifications and Skills:
