Duties

• Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including auto, professional, premises, and general liability, as well as medical/dental malpractice cases.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and provide case evaluations.
• Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, both in-person and remotely.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of experience in insurance defense or a related legal field.
• Licensed to practice law in California and/or Nevada.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the California and/or Nevada State Bar.

Skills

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Experience using litigation management software and legal technology.
• Strong negotiation and case management abilities.
