Duties:

  • Manage and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for patent portfolio management.
  • Conduct freedom-to-operate opinions and due diligence analyses.
  • Perform landscape analyses to assess IP landscapes and competitive intelligence.
  • Advise clients on IP strategy, including patentability, infringement, and licensing issues.
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop comprehensive IP strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Assist in IP litigation matters, including pre-litigation strategy and support.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one state and in good standing.
  • Admitted to practice before the USPTO.
  • 3+ years of experience focusing on patent prosecution and strategic management of patent portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property law and patent regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
