A law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience in general commercial litigation, specifically with a strong emphasis on insurance coverage analysis and litigation, as well as class actions. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience in drafting insurance coverage opinions and litigating insurance coverage and bad faith suits or class action litigation. Exceptional academic credentials, along with strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, are required.

Duties:

  • Handle general commercial litigation matters with a focus on insurance coverage analysis and litigation.
  • Draft, review, and analyze insurance coverage opinions and legal documents.
  • Litigate insurance coverage disputes, bad faith suits, and class action lawsuits.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda and reports.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Engage with clients, opposing counsel, and experts to advance case objectives.
  • Stay current on developments in insurance law, class action litigation, and relevant legal practices.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in the State Bar of Georgia.
  • 2-4 years of experience in general commercial litigation with a focus on insurance coverage and class actions.
  • Prior law firm experience in drafting insurance coverage opinions and litigating insurance coverage and bad faith suits or class actions is preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Georgia.
