Job Overview

This role offers an opportunity to work within a premier legal team addressing Title IX, civil rights, and regulatory compliance matters. The position is flexible for associate, counsel, or member-level attorneys depending on experience. The role requires a candidate with expertise in conducting investigations, implementing fair and trauma-informed procedures, and developing compliance frameworks for diverse institutions.

Duties

  • Conduct investigations under Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, and other civil rights or criminal laws.
  • Address issues related to sexual and gender-based harassment, protected class discrimination, and violence.
  • Assist institutions or governmental agencies in designing and implementing trauma-informed, fair, and impartial resolution processes.
  • Develop and revise policies, procedures, and educational materials to align with compliance requirements.
  • Guide regulatory frameworks, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and child protection standards.
  • Offer institutional support in policy compliance, systems design, investigations, governance, and risk management.
  • Engage with diverse clients, including educational institutions, corporations, hospitals, and not-for-profit organizations.
  • Travel as required to meet client and institutional needs.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • Strong experience in Title IX investigations and related regulatory compliance.
  • Familiarity with civil rights and criminal laws addressing sexual and gender-based misconduct, child abuse, and elder abuse.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Clery Act and related compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to work in high-stakes, sensitive environments with strict confidentiality.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar license in Pennsylvania.
