Senior Corporate Associate Attorney

Chicago office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a senior corporate associate attorney with 5+ years of substantive experience in business transactions, private equity, securities offerings, and mergers & acquisitions. Law Review or Business Law Journal experience is preferred. The candidate will be negotiating and drafting business agreements. Closing private equity and venture capital investment transactions. Drafting private placement offerings for small businesses and investment funds. Organizing companies, including limited liability companies and corporations; and drafting all organizational documents.

The candidate must have a JD degree; candidates with 5+ years of business, financial or tax qualifications (LL.M., CFP, CPA, MBA, MST) will be considered. Should possess superior communication, drafting, writing, and research skills and excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must be detail-oriented with exceptional organization skills.
