A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney for its Rockville, MD, location:

Job Overview:

The Bankruptcy Attorney will be responsible for drafting bankruptcy motions and filings, attending hearings, communicating with clients and staff, managing a high volume of files, and maintaining data integrity in a case management system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, a proficient communicator, and capable of multitasking effectively.

Job Details:

• Draft bankruptcy motions and other filings
• Attend hearings and court appearances
• Communicate with clients, internal staff, and others to ensure cases are handled appropriately
• Prioritize and manage a high volume of files with great attention to detail and under strict deadlines
• Perform quality control reviews of documents and staff work
• Demonstrate proficiency in inputting and maintaining information into a case management system to ensure data integrity

Requirements:

• Must be MD barred; DC or VA is a plus
• 2+ years of experience preferred, but recently licensed attorneys with relevant backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Experience representing banks and mortgage servicers or general real estate or litigation experience is a plus

Education & Certifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in Maryland is required; DC or VA admission is a plus
