Professional Liability Associate Attorney

Location

Duties

• Defend securities broker-dealers, financial advisors, and life insurance agents in FINRA arbitration, AAA arbitration, court proceedings, and regulatory matters
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist in managing cases from inception through resolution under the guidance of senior attorneys
• Provide client-facing support, attending meetings and interacting with clients as appropriate
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys in a client-focused, team-oriented environment
• Participate in strategic planning, case development, and argument preparation
• Develop legal arguments and assist in drafting settlement documents

Requirements

• 1 to 5 years of legal experience, ideally in professional liability, securities litigation, or related practice areas
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
• Interest in finance, securities law, and investments
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with senior attorneys
• Commitment to professional growth and development
• Steady and consistent work history preferred

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required)

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania (required)
• Additional Bar admissions (e.g., New Jersey, New York) are a plus
