Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm based in New York City is actively seeking a skilled mid-level attorney to join its high-performing litigation team, with a strong emphasis on antitrust matters. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, multijurisdictional disputes while working alongside seasoned legal professionals on high-impact cases across various industries.

Duties:

  • Provide strategic legal guidance on high-stakes antitrust disputes, class actions, and broader commercial litigation.

  • Design litigation approaches for complex legal matters, including procedural planning and discovery management.

  • Draft and refine court submissions, including appellate briefs, dispositive motions, and pre-/post-trial materials.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide detailed analysis involving cross-border laws and regulations, with a regional focus on Latin America and India.

  • Take and defend both fact and expert witness depositions.

  • Prepare and support witnesses for trial and deposition testimony.

  • Supervise and participate in extensive document review processes, ensuring compliance and identification of key evidence.

  • Tackle regulatory nuances in multijurisdictional filings, in coordination with global legal teams and clients.

  • Prepare internal strategic memoranda regarding evolving litigation issues.

  • Oversee vendor selection, litigation technology integration, and support services.

  • Collaborate directly with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategy and client engagement materials.

  • Guide junior legal professionals, contributing to their development and legal training programs.

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings related to case strategy, and contribute to client development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in antitrust and complex litigation matters within a large or international law firm setting.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale litigation cases simultaneously.

  • Substantive experience with antitrust compliance, class actions, and adversarial bankruptcy proceedings.

  • Experience preparing strategic litigation materials across industries including technology, telecommunications, energy, healthcare, and retail.

  • Practical knowledge in dealing with legal frameworks across Latin America and India.

  • Strong record of drafting high-level litigation documents and providing strategic legal insight.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.), LL.M., or equivalent U.S. legal degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the State of New York is required.

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and lead complex litigation teams.

  • Proficiency in managing document review platforms and litigation technologies.
