Associate Attorney needed for Woodland Hills office

Job Overview: A leading creditor's rights law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Woodland Hills, CA office. This position offers the opportunity to be immersed in the litigation process from suit initiation through trial, providing significant courtroom and litigation experience. Both experienced and newly licensed attorneys are encouraged to apply.

Location:

• Woodland Hills, CA

Duties:

• Draft, review, and file litigation motions and responses throughout the litigation process.
• Prepare for and attend trials and arbitrations.
• Communicate with consumers, employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.
• Prepare and attend court appearances in Los Angeles County and surrounding areas, with potential overnight travel.
• Review legal pleadings and documents to ensure accuracy for court filings.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
• Ability to travel to court appearances and consistently arrive on time using your own method of transportation.
• Additional licensing in other states (MO, IA, NE, ID, CA, WA, OR, AK, HI, NV) is welcomed but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the California State Bar.
• Additional state bar admissions are a plus.

• Strong legal research, writing, and litigation skills.
• Excellent communication abilities for client and court interactions.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
