Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and represent them in criminal matters, including drafting legal documents and case preparation.
• Attend pretrial hearings, advise clients on strategy, and provide counsel on optimal legal approaches.
• Manage court appearances, conduct legal research, interview witnesses, and draft motions.
• Analyze potential outcomes of cases based on legal precedents and case facts.
• Develop legal strategies and provide insights on possible benefits and outcomes for clients.
• Collect additional evidence to strengthen the client’s case or challenge the prosecution’s evidence.
• Prepare clients for depositions and work with witnesses and experts to gather supporting information.
• Collaborate effectively with the legal team, sharing insights and strategies to ensure the best client outcomes.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in criminal defense law.
• Proven experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients and legal professionals.
• Team-oriented with a proactive approach to collaboration and case strategy.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the California State Bar.
