We are seeking a Property and Casualty Insurance Associate Attorney to join a leading legal and consultative services provider in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, particularly in civil litigation related to insurance matters. Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in property and casualty insurance litigation, including state and federal court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Manage a caseload of civil litigation cases, ensuring timely progression and resolution.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal counsel.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to keep them informed about case developments.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience in civil litigation in state court; experience in federal court is a plus.
  • Familiarity with first-party insurance litigation and bad faith insurance litigation preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Florida.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Florida.
