A law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking a Real Estate and Finance Associate Attorney to join their esteemed team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience representing various parties in real estate transactions and commercial finance, including sales, acquisitions, financing, and debt restructurings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent sellers, buyers, borrowers, lenders, and preferred equity investors in real estate transactions.
  • Handle sales, acquisitions, construction and permanent financing, and preferred equity investments.
  • Manage debt restructurings and provide legal guidance on related matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents related to real estate and finance transactions.
  • Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to develop and implement transaction strategies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of various real estate and finance agreements.
  • Stay current with changes in real estate and finance laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in real estate and commercial finance law.
  • Experience representing sellers, buyers, borrowers, lenders, and preferred equity investors.
  • Familiarity with CMBS loans is a plus.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a J.D. or equivalent degree from a well-respected U.S. law school.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and self-starting with a strong work ethic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to respond productively to direction and feedback.
  • Ability to work well with staff and leadership.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar or planning to take the Bar exam promptly after starting.

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
