Location:

Duties:

  • Manage construction defect cases from inception through resolution, including client and carrier relationship management.
  • Lead and mentor junior attorneys and staff while providing strategic guidance and leadership within the firm.
  • Contribute to business development and marketing efforts, collaborating with the firm’s team to grow the practice.
  • Maintain a caseload while ensuring high standards of client service and successful case outcomes.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to the positive culture within the firm.
  • Support firm initiatives, including DEI efforts, and assist in shaping the firm’s long-term growth strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Partner-level experience in construction defect law.
  • Proven ability to manage cases, clients, and carrier relationships effectively.
  • Strong record of job stability and excellent references.
  • Member of the Texas State Bar in good standing.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and lead a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the Texas Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Expertise in construction defect litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Exceptional client relationship management and business development abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
