This role involves legal research, document preparation, client communication, and trial preparation, particularly handling a high volume of time-sensitive demands.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist senior attorneys in providing legal counsel and support to clients.Conduct thorough legal research and draft various legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and senior attorneys regarding responses to time-limited conditional demands.Prepare and review discovery-related documents and assist with trial and deposition preparation.Represent clients in court and during depositions as needed.Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on potential solutions, and negotiate on their behalf.Ensure efficient handling of time-limited conditional demands, providing necessary explanations to non-lawyer clients.Maintain up-to-date documentation of demand response files for attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.Meet and exceed billing goals and deadlines.Perform other duties as assigned by senior attorneys.Requirements:5-7 years of experience in a similar litigation role.Admission to the Georgia Bar.Prior experience with responses to time-limited conditional demands and extra-contractual and bad faith matters preferred.Proven ability to handle a high volume of time-sensitive demands with short deadlines.Strong self-starter mentality with a high degree of motivation to meet deadlines.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Georgia.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.Proven capability to meet billing goals and manage a high workload.Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and ancillary insurance options.Firm-paid life insurance and long-term disability coverage.401k profit-sharing plan.
