Real Estate Closing Attorney

The ideal candidate will have experience handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, refinances, and other related legal matters. Location:

• Goose Creek, SC

Duties:

• Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances
• Review title documents for accuracy and compliance
• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions
• Draft and/or review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements
• Provide a professional and engaging client experience, addressing any questions or concerns
• Review disbursement ledger and sign checks
• Cultivate and grow business relationships to enhance the firm’s client base
• Conduct client training in relevant areas of real estate law

Requirements:

• Residential real estate experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate
• Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and community involvement
• Focused on growth and development in residential real estate

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the South Carolina State Bar

Certifications:

• South Carolina State Bar Membership (in good standing)

Skills:

• Knowledge of residential and commercial real estate transactions
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, deeds, and purchase agreements
• Strong client management and interpersonal skills
