A law firm based in Houston, TX, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing legal team. The firm handles a wide variety of civil litigation cases, including real estate disputes, construction disputes, debt collection, business divorces, and landlord-tenant conflicts. Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases from start to finish, including pretrial and trial stages
• Handle a diverse range of cases such as real estate disputes, construction matters, debt collection, business divorces, and landlord-tenant issues
• Manage your caseload with the support of experienced paralegals and staff
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court as needed
• Prepare legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Develop case strategies and work independently to move cases forward
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with legal procedures and deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation practice, particularly in Texas
• Strong experience in handling cases from pretrial through to trial
• Ability to independently manage a caseload
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills
• A valid Texas Bar license

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Texas State Bar Association
