Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join its growing team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, including real estate/business disputes and construction law. Location:

Duties:

  • Appear in court, argue motions, and participate in trial
  • Write briefs and perform legal research
  • Draft discovery documents and assemble discovery responses
  • Draft pleadings and legal correspondence
  • Interact with clients and provide legal guidance
  • Handle all phases of litigation, including court appearances, discovery, mediation, and trial support

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Current good standing with the California State Bar
  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience (Construction Defect Litigation experience is ideal)
  • Deposition and trial experience
  • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word (including advanced formatting)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (including PDF editing)
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and assignments effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Current membership in the California State Bar
