A law firm seeks a skilled Real Estate Closing Attorney to join its team in Goose Creek, SC. This role involves managing residential and commercial real estate transactions, providing exceptional client service, and ensuring seamless coordination between all parties involved. The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate transactions, although candidates with the right aptitude and commitment will be considered.

Duties:

  • Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, refinances, and leases.
  • Review title documents to ensure accurate ownership and identify any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate and communicate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction process.
  • Draft and/or review essential real estate documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase agreements.
  • Provide a professional and engaging client experience, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Review disbursement ledgers and authorize necessary payments.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships to support firm growth and client retention.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients and stakeholders on relevant real estate law topics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in residential real estate transactions is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Must be a member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and capable of engaging with the local community and industry networks.
  • A growth-oriented mindset, focused on achieving results and adapting to changing legal standards.
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrated in both academic and professional settings.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the South Carolina State Bar (or eligible for admission).
