Duties

• Develop case strategies and prepare clients for court/USCIS testimonies.
• Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Conduct client intake and manage a caseload effectively.
• Prepare and review diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations regarding immigration law changes.
• Meet with potential clients for consultations and provide strategic legal analysis.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and strategize with associates.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to move legal cases forward independently.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications and Skills

• Licensed to practice law, with a focus on immigration law.
• Experience with case management software is preferred.
