Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Draft and review discovery documents, pleadings, and motions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Attend hearings and represent clients in court.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and provide sound legal advice.
  • Prepare comprehensive legal documents and correspondence.

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of experience in Family Law.
  • Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
  • Proven litigation experience.
  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and drafting pleadings and motions.
  • High organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong research and writing abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize caseload independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
