Duties:

  • Independently manage a caseload involving workers’ compensation claims

  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses

  • Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials

  • Engage with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel

  • Negotiate claim resolutions and settlements

  • Monitor deadlines and ensure timely case progression

Requirements:

  • Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar

  • 0-2 years of relevant legal experience

  • Familiarity with workers’ compensation or litigation is preferred, but not mandatory

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
