Location:

Duties:

  • Manage cases through the litigation process from start to finish.
  • Assess enforcement options and take appropriate legal actions on cases.
  • Handle a variety of matters, including tort/subrogation, loan, credit card collection, and post-judgment work.
  • Make court appearances, including hearings and trials.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery.
  • Stay organized and maintain detailed records for each case.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Certifications:
    • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin (or the ability to obtain license before the date of hire).
  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in collections, litigation, or a related practice area is preferred.
    • New graduates or attorneys with limited experience in this area are encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage a large caseload.
