Job Overview:

This role involves handling high-volume caseloads, providing top-tier legal advocacy, and engaging in various aspects of breach of contract and collection litigation. Duties:

  • Manage breach of contract and collection litigation cases from demand to judgment.
  • Attend court hearings, both virtually and in person.
  • Draft, prepare, and argue motions, including Motions for Summary Judgment.
  • Address escalated and time-sensitive matters effectively.
  • Ensure goals and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Participate in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of California.
  • Experience with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in conducting legal research using both legal and non-legal sources.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
