First Party Attorney

A law firm in West Palm Beach is seeking a First Party Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for handling first-party property insurance coverage matters, including litigation, negotiation, and client counseling.

Duties:

• Represent clients in first-party property insurance coverage disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.
• Provide advice and counsel to clients on insurance coverage matters.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law related to insurance coverage.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• 2-5 years of experience in first-party/property coverage.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
