Associate Attorney needed for Sunrise office

A well-established litigation firm is seeking motivated and skilled Litigation Associates to join its growing team in Coral Gables and Sunrise, FL. Location:

• Sunrise Harbor, FL

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense and construction defects litigation
• Draft pleadings, legal research, and discovery
• Take and attend depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Participate in site inspections and trial preparation
• Attend and participate in trials
• Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with senior partners
• Maintain and develop client relationships
• Ensure deadlines are met and high-quality work is produced
• Coordinate with experts, witnesses, and other professionals to support case development

Requirements:

• Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing
• 1-3 years of experience in Civil Litigation (preferably insurance defense and construction defects)
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Independent, self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality work
• Ability to manage a caseload independently and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar Admission)

Skills:

• Expertise in Civil Litigation, especially in insurance defense and construction defects
• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Strong deposition and trial preparation skills
