Associate Attorney needed for Wilmington office

Location:

Duties:

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues to develop defense strategies for clients.
• Conduct extensive legal research and prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively and promptly with clients, insurance carriers, and other parties involved in the case.
• Handle assigned cases efficiently, ensuring the timely disposition of matters.
• Prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, hearings, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions.
• Represent clients in oral arguments and manage court communications.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance defense or a related legal field.
• Strong litigation experience (including taking and defending depositions, preparing discovery, and filing motions).
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent work ethic and professional demeanor.
• Delaware Bar License required (additional state licenses, such as NJ, WV, or PA, are a plus).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Delaware Bar (required).
• Admission to other state bars (NJ, WV, PA) is a plus.
