Job Overview:
A well-established law firm, located in Oklahoma City, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join its legal team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional legal representation in creditor rights matters, primarily focusing on residential foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin. The Associate Attorney will collaborate with a team of legal professionals, contribute innovative solutions to emerging challenges, and ensure the delivery of top-quality legal services to financial institutions.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with clients in default servicing and mortgage banking to resolve legal issues.
  • Review loan documents, financial records, and related correspondence to ensure accuracy.
  • Draft responses to motions and affirmative defenses received from defendants.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, notices, motions, and correspondence.
  • Attend in-person and virtual court hearings.
  • Identify legal issues, develop strategies, and advocate for clients in court.
  • Oversee non-legal staff to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Guide the firm’s compliance and ethics programs.
  • Perform other legal duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Oklahoma.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a legal environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
