This position offers an opportunity for a skilled litigator with over 10 years of experience to lead complex commercial litigation cases, including real estate disputes, consumer protection, landlord-tenant issues, and foreclosure defense. Duties:

  • Represent clients in various commercial litigation matters, including real estate, business disputes, and foreclosure defense
  • Develop legal strategies and provide expert analysis on case matters
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare necessary legal documents
  • Attend and represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations
  • Collaborate with opposing counsel and negotiate settlements
  • Provide legal guidance to clients regarding ongoing commercial litigation issues
  • Oversee discovery processes and prepare motions for summary judgment
  • Manage and lead the litigation department while mentoring junior attorneys
  • Demonstrate proficiency in legal software like Westlaw

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a member of the Florida Bar
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage complex cases
  • Strong legal writing and communication skills
  • Trial experience with a record of client representation
  • Ability to mentor and work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Must be fully bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Member in good standing with the Florida Bar
