  • Interface directly with developers, investors, public agencies, and financial institutions

  • Manage deal timelines and oversee junior team members when needed

  • Structure transactions involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), including both 4% and 9% credits

  • Facilitate property acquisitions, refinancings, dispositions, and investor exits

  • Offer strategic planning guidance during the early stages of project development

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of legal practice focused on affordable housing, tax credit finance, or real estate development

  • Deep familiarity with LIHTC-based transactions and public-private development models

  • Experience working with multiple sides of a deal (e.g., developers, lenders, investors) is advantageous

  • Strong transaction management and client-facing experience required

  • Active license to practice law in Ohio or ability to obtain admission promptly

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited, nationally recognized law school

Certifications
