Investment Services Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Investment Services Associate Attorney to join their New York City, NY office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing multiple matters simultaneously, specializing in registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities laws compliance.

Duties:

• Efficiently manage multiple matters concurrently within investment services
• Provide legal guidance on regulatory and compliance issues related to federal securities laws
• Handle matters concerning registered investment companies and investment advisers
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on relevant legal matters

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree with outstanding academic credentials
• Admission to the Bar in relevant jurisdiction or in the process of becoming admitted
• 4-6 years of experience in investment services, with a focus on registered investment companies and investment advisers
• Proficient understanding of regulatory and compliance matters regarding federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Analytical skills for conducting legal research and problem-solving
