Senior Trial Attorney - Personal Injury

Job Overview:
An established law firm, specializing in personal injury litigation, is seeking an experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join its team in Beverly Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in personal injury cases, with trial experience and the ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to resolution. This role requires excellent legal research, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to manage a caseload and lead a team.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from case inception to resolution
• Take and defend depositions
• Conduct legal research and draft complaints, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes
• Stay updated on developments in personal injury law and relevant legal precedents
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
• Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals
• Conduct trial preparation and represent clients in court effectively

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Trial experience with a proven track record of successful case outcomes
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing (no prior suspensions)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage and resolve legal disputes efficiently
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong negotiation skills to represent clients' interests
• Proficient in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
