A law firm in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in various aspects of trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, counseling, licensing, and enforcement. Demonstrated expertise in domestic and global portfolio management is advantageous.

 

Job Duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive trademark clearance searches and provide opinions on trademark availability.
  • Manage trademark prosecution matters, including drafting and filing trademark applications.
  • Offer strategic counseling to clients on trademark issues, including selection, registration, and enforcement strategies.
  • Draft and negotiate trademark licensing agreements.
  • Assist in trademark enforcement actions, such as cease and desist letters, oppositions, and cancellations.
  • Oversee the management of trademark portfolios for both domestic and international clients.
  • Stay abreast of developments in trademark laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Indiana.
  • 4-6 years of experience in trademark law.
  • Outstanding academic credentials.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.

  • Strong command of domestic and international trademark laws and regulations.
