A prominent personal injury law firm in North Carolina is seeking an Associate Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be an assertive advocate for clients, handling auto liability, premises liability, and commercial claims. This position offers the opportunity to work in either the Wilmington or Charlotte office.

Duties

• Oversee medical management performed by case managers.
• Assess case values and utilize subject matter experts for negotiations.
• Negotiate claims and refer cases to litigation as necessary.
• Mentor case managers and contribute to pre-litigation strategies.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on organizational needs.
• Assist with exceptional cases at the discretion of management.

Requirements

• Active member of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).
• 3+ years of personal injury experience.
• Ability to handle complex caseloads with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in writing, research, and negotiation.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid North Carolina Bar license (required).
