Duties

  • Oversee medical management performed by case managers.
  • Assess case values and utilize subject matter experts for negotiations.
  • Negotiate claims and refer cases to litigation as necessary.
  • Mentor case managers and contribute to pre-litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on organizational needs.
  • Assist with exceptional cases at the discretion of management.

Requirements

  • Active member of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA).
  • 3+ years of personal injury experience.
  • Ability to handle complex caseloads with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in writing, research, and negotiation.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Valid North Carolina Bar license (required).
