Associate Attorney needed for New York City office

A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its New York City office who will focus on D&O or E&O insurance coverage and securities litigation. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Job Overview:

• Provide counsel to clients on directors' and officers' liability and professional liability matters.
• Conduct policy analysis and draft coverage opinions and client reports.
• Represent clients in insurance coverage actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies.

Duties:

• Advise clients on directors' and officers' and professional liability matters.
• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage opinions.
• Prepare detailed reports for clients.
• Represent clients in litigation proceedings related to insurance coverage.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in D&O or E&O insurance coverage and/or securities litigation.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ambitious and creative approach to legal problem-solving.
• Excellent academic achievement in law school.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
