Job Overview: A well-established law firm in San Jose, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. The ideal candidate will bring between 3 to 7 years of litigation experience and possess a keen interest in business, commercial, trust & estate, and real estate matters. Duties:

• Manage and assist in the preparation of complex litigation cases across multiple legal areas, including business, commercial, trust & estate, and real estate.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams on case strategy and execution.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and strategic guidance.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of litigation experience, with a focus on business, commercial, trust & estate, and/or real estate law.
• Strong academic background, demonstrating a history of high-level performance.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases with competing deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity in case strategy.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and legal research skills.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage complex cases.
• Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.
