Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in court trials.

  • Conduct legal research using tools like Westlaw to stay current with relevant laws and precedents.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents in preparation for trial.
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team of experienced attorneys to strategize case approaches.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, leveraging trial experience and legal knowledge.
  • Maintain a high level of client communication and provide exceptional legal advice and counsel.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a trial attorney, with a focus on personal injury cases.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to representing clients zealously in and out of the courtroom.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to craft persuasive arguments.
  • Proficiency in legal research software, particularly Westlaw.
