Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Austin, TX. This role involves managing personal injury cases from filing through trial, including motor vehicle collisions and premises liability. Duties:

  • File petitions and engage in the discovery process for personal injury cases.
  • Conduct depositions and represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Manage a caseload of personal injury cases and oversee a dedicated support staff.
  • Prepare legal documents, negotiate settlements, and strategize case progression.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough case preparation and effective client representation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Capable of leading and working within a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Expertise in civil litigation and personal injury law.
  • Proficient in legal research, drafting, and case management.
  • Strong advocacy and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
