Job Overview:
A law firm located in Elkhorn, WI, is looking to hire a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work primarily in real estate law, covering areas such as real estate transactions, zoning, land use, development, and entitlement. Duties:

• Manage and support real estate transactions, including contracts, purchases, and sales
• Advise clients on zoning, land use, development, and entitlement matters
• Conduct legal research and draft necessary documentation
• Provide counsel on a wide range of real estate legal issues
• Represent clients in negotiations and dealings with government agencies
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve favorable outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of real estate law and industry trends

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Wisconsin
• Experience in real estate law is preferred
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Graduates (3L students) anticipated to complete their degree in Spring 2025 are encouraged to apply

Certifications:

• Valid Bar License in the State of Wisconsin

Skills:

• Expertise in real estate law, including transactional, zoning, land use, and development matters
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficiency with legal research tools and software
• Knowledge of local and state regulations impacting real estate transactions
