Job Details:

  • Collaborate with partners on first and third-party insurance litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research using technology and other computer/web-based data sources.
  • Prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation strategy and case management.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admissions in neighboring states a plus.
  • 2-5 years of relevant civil litigation experience, with a preference for defense experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in legal research, technology, and computer skills essential for legal practice.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admissions in neighboring states preferred.
